Essay on  VALUE OF TIME (400 WORDS)
Time is most essential and precious thing than other things in life even from wealth in this world. Once a valuable time goes, it goes forever and never come back because it runs only in the forward direction and not in the backward direction. It is really that if one man does not understand the value of time, time also never understands the value of that man. If any person destroy his time, time also destroy him very badly. It is said that “time and tide waits for none”. At a moment, time gives only a chance, if we lost it ,we can never get back.

It is a wonderful thing which has no beginning and ending point. It is a powerful thing within which things are born, grow, decay or die by its rule. We does not see any limitation and boundation  of it.So it moves continuously at its own pace. No one of us has command time at any stage of life. Neither it can be analyzed nor criticized by one. Generally every person becomes conscious about value and importance of time .However many of us lose patience during bad situations of life and start to waste time. Time never stops for anyone and never show kindness to anybody.

It is said that time is money. However I think that we cannot compare time with money as once money has lost can be earned by any way. However once time lost can never be earned by any way. Time is more valuable than money and other precious things of the universe. The ever changing of time shows the unique property of nature that “Change is the law of nature”. Everything in the world changes according to the time as nothing is independent of time. People think that how long the life is! However the truth is that the life is very short and we have so much things to do in our life. We should use every moment of our life correctly and meaningfully without wasting time.

Our daily routine schedule such as hours of sleep, waking time,  school works, home tasks, , exercise, eating, etc should be well planned and organized according to the certain time. We should enjoy working hard and never postpone good deeds to work in later time. We should understand the value of time and use time accordingly in constructive manner so that we can be blessed well  with time not destroyed with time.

Short Composition about Floods in Bangladesh

Question: Write a short composition on “floods in Bangladesh.
Answer: Flood is a natural calamity. It is almost an annual affair in Bangladesh. Bangladesh suffers from floods almost every year.
Flood is main reason by heavy showers of rain. Rivers and canals cannot carry the rainwater to the sea rapidly. So, there is a sudden increase in water n the river and canals which overflow their banks and cause a flood. Floods also may be caused by the melting of snow in the mountains. Many of our rivers are silted and cannot contain much water. During the rainy season, heavy rainfall and a sudden rush of water from the mountains also cause a flood.
Almost all the rivers of Bangladesh originated in India. India controls the flow of these rivers which very frequently creates a flood. Farakka Barrage in India now one of the main causes of the flood in Bangladesh. Bangladesh should take an alternative means to control flood. It can be done by building darns and embankments in the low-lying areas and by excavating canals to preserve water for the dry season.
Flood visits our country almost every year. The floods that occurred in the years 1954, 1960, 1968, 1970, 1972, 1974, 1987, 1988, 1998, 2007 were very alarming. All these floods caused a huge loss of life and property. The flood of 1988 and 2007 surpassed all the records of the past. Ninety percent of our villages and towns remained under water for several days.
Flood causes serious devastation. Crops are badly damaged, trees are uprooted. It washes away our village and towns. Streets, roads and even people’s houses go under water. People cannot go from one place to another. Sometimes flood causes river erosion for what many people become homeless and shelterless. The sufferings of people and the domestic animals are out of description. Trade and commerce come to a stagnant. position. After-effects of the flood are more serious. Cholera, typhoid, dysentery and diarrhoea break out in an epidemic form. There is a scarcity of pure drinking water. Many people die of starvation. The affected areas become muddled with filth and dirt. The road communication is disrupted. This creates an adverse impact on the economy.
Flood has some good effects too. The silt caused by flood water makes the land fertile. It washes away filth and dirt from the lands, houses and our surroundings. People are blessed with increased production of food and other crops. because the fertility of land increases. If we cannot check the huge harm that flood causes to our country every year, our all efforts for development will go in vain. So, we must investigate effective and permanent measures for the prevention of flood.

Short Composition on The Rainy Season in Bangladesh

Question: Write a short composition on your script about the rainy season of Bangladesh.
Answer: There are six season in our Bangladesh. The rainy season is one of the six seasons of our Bangladesh. Two Bengali months Ashar and Shravan are called the rainy season. The south-west monsoon which blows over Bangladesh during this period is the cause of heavy rainfall in our country. During summer, the scorching heat evaporates the sea-water and this vapor rises up with air. Then the vapor is cooled and condensed into clouds which brings down rains. During this season, the sky remains overcast with the cloud. Sometimes the sun remains invisible for days together. Sometimes it drizzles and sometimes it rains in a torrent.
As Bangladesh is mainly an agricultural country, the rainy season is very helpful for its food production. The rainwater washes the whole country, the rivers inundate their banks bringing alluvial and fertility to the land. Various kinds of fishes are available in the rainy season.
The people in the rural areas can easily go from one place to another by boat. Many people carry goods in the boats. On the other hand, the rainy season causes many inconveniences to the people. Sometimes, rains continue for several days which cause great miseries to the people. Violent blasts of winds blow, violent storms topple down the houses and sink boats. Roads are covered with muds and on some roads, water remains stagnant.
In the villages, the whole field goes under water. The villages look like islands during rainy season as they remain surrounded by water from all sides. People cannot go from one place to another to meet their needs without boats. Snakes and poisonous insects living beneath the earth come out as water rushes there. Rains compel the people to remain indoors. Poor people and day laborers suffer a lot as they can not go to their work. Flu, pneumonia, dysentery are the common diseases of this season.
The sufferings of the people in urban areas are no less than the people in rural areas. Rains come all on a sudden and without any prior notice. The rickshaw-pullers and auto-rickshaw drivers demand more fare which causes more inconvenience to the city dwellers. Excessive rainfall causes floods that damage our crops. Agricultural products are hampered due to flood. Cholera and other water-borne diseases break out in an epidemic form after the flood. Many people die of cholera and other diseases. Our agricultural and economic growth are often hampered due to flood. Rain is helpful for growth in agriculture but excessive rain brings disaster for our people. So we can say that the rainy season is both a blessing and a curse for our economy as well as for our country.
